Aleksandr Skidan is a Russian poet, critic, and translator, born in 1965 in Saint Petersburg, then Leningrad. His books include "Delirium", "In the Re-Reading", and "Red Shift", for which he was awarded the Andrei Bely Prize. His critical works include "Critical Mass" and "The Resistance to/of Poetry". Aleksandr Skidan lives and works in Saint Petersburg.
