Susanne Buerner

Susanne Buerner was born in Ellwangen/Jagst, Germany in 1970. She is concerned with the vocabulary of suspense, and, mostly, its emotional response for the spectator, in her videos and photographic work. This year her work has been featured, among others, at the Prague Biennale, and in I AM FUTURE MELANCHOLIC at the Tate Modern in London. She had her Studies of Media Arts at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe between 1993 and 1998. Lives and works in Berlin.
